Every great clubs and all the nation's who can be considered as advanced in the football playing skill, are bound to this dedication of youth development program. As pioneer in many other aspects, Mohun Bagan Athletic club started its youth development program in a scientific and regular approach. The club today possessed four youth brigades and a fully functional football academy at Durgapur, a city around 200 kilometer from Kolkata with foreign trainer and with all modern facility. Steel Authority of India provided the facility to Mohun Bagan for this Academy. Today Mohun Bagan colts marked their place in Manchester United youth cup in Manchester and Yakut Dannone cup in Paris as the champions of Asia.
